March: Camel’s Hump
Considered one of the best and prettiest hikes in Vermont, climbing Camel's Hump makes for a perfect Vermont day trip. During March, you should have a peaceful hike up to the stunning views from the summit.
April: Vermont Maple Festival (St. Albans)
Toward the end of April each year, the St. Albans Maple Festival will be bustling with visitors and maple syrup, along with plenty of other fun activities, including a parade and live music.
May: Trapp Family Lodge (Stowe)
If you love the Sound of Music, you cannot miss the chance to visit the Trapp Family Lodge, where you will be treated to great service and learn about the von Trapp's fascinating history. This 2,400-acre lodge is beautifully decorated and situated perfectly for breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

July: The Champlain Islands
In all of Vermont, you will arguably not find more beautiful landscapes than in the Champlain Islands during the summer months. Take a ride along Route 2 and fall in love with the pristine Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains in the backdrop.

September: Burlington
With a vibrant culture, great restaurants, and shopping, Burlington is a great place for a day trip. In just one day, you can stroll down Church Street, eat a "creemee" on the waterfront, and dine at a superb restaurant.
October: The Notch (Jeffersonville)
Vermont in the fall. That is what we are known for, but where should you go to see the best foliage? Look no further than the drive through the Notch on Mountain Road in Jeffersonville. The narrow winding road leads you into a maze of orange, red, and yellow. It is truly a sight to behold.
November: Shelburne Farms
Simply stated, Shelburne Farms is exquisite. From the rolling hills to the distant lake views, and the rooms and the farm, you will be in awe every step of the way as you wander through this estate. Winter is a perfect time to go. Everything looks better covered with snow.
December: Woodstock
In the winter, Woodstock becomes an enchanted town. The snow glistens on the old, colonial houses. The soft, dim lights of the town draw you in with their warm and intimate setting. For a truly romantic getaway, stay at the elegant Woodstock Inn.
