Welcome to Shelburne Farms!

Located on a 1,400 acre working farm, Shelburne Farms is a nonprofit organization which educates people for a sustainable future.

Along with the educational opportunities, they also run a grass-based dairy and cheese-making facility, maple sugaring and lumber operations, an organic market garden, and a seasonal inn to help support their education work.

Some of the things the kids will do include tapping maples, building campfires, visiting farm animals, and getting outside in all kinds of weather that Vermont winters and springs bring.

Winter sleigh rides take place every Saturday and Sunday.
