Every Fall, This Small Town Heritage Center In Utah Holds The Best Harvest Festival In The State

Out of the many fall festivals in Utah, there is one that seems to have it all. The Fall Harvest Festival, located at the American West Heritage Center in the small town of Wellsville, helps you celebrate the harvest the old fashion way. With pony rides, a cider press, entertainment, a corn maze, and more, this is one fall festival in Utah that offers an unforgettable experience for the entire family.

The American West Heritage Center is located on U.S. Highway 89 in Cache Valley. This unique attraction takes you a step back in time and teaches you about the history of Cache Valley and the people who once called it home.

The American West Heritage Center hosts various annual events but its fall harvest festival is one that individuals anxiously anticipate all year long.

This two-day event features a plethora of activities to help celebrate the harvest and one of the most popular attractions is the cider press. Individuals of all ages can help the staff work the cider press and see first-hand how cider is made on the Heritage Center's farm.

You can then gather the family and hop aboard a wagon! Rides are available around the farm and children under the age of 12 (and weighing less than 100 pounds), can even have a turn riding on a pony.

Take a break and view interesting and educational demonstrations. You may even put your new knowledge to the test through activities such as candle making.

You’ll also want to see how fast you can go through the large corn maze or sit back and enjoy a magic show.

Be aware that some activities, such as the magic show, do require an additional fee.

There are even a few unique events, such as bison tours and the Haunted Hollow, that really take this festival to the next level.

With all that there is to do and see, it’s no wonder the Fall Harvest Festival at the American West Heritage Center is one of the most popular fall events in the entire state. It’s two days of fun that your family will not want to miss.
