Some of Utah’s smallest towns are its most picturesque. Check out these 15 towns and plan to visit some of them soon.

They’re listed alphabetically, since ranking them by beauty would be almost impossible!

1. Alpine

A quaint farming community snuggled against the base of a stunning mountain range. Wow.

2. Boulder

The view from Boulder is pretty spectacular.

3. Brigham City

Brigham City’s Main Street is adorable. The arch sign has been in place since 1928.

4. Heber

Historic Heber is both charming and interesting -- you’ll find many buildings on the Historical Register here.

5. Helper

The little town of Helper is also full of historic buildings, and of course, the railroad museum.

6. Loa

The tiny town of Loa only has about 500 citizens. It’s picturesque in a different way; instead of a cute little Main Street, Loa has rural, pastoral beauty.

7. Midway

Midway is in Wasatch County, located in the Heber Valley. It’s a quiet, rural little town that’s full of charm.

8. Moab

Not only is Moab a great place to play, its downtown is pretty, too.

9. Monticello

The County Seat of San Juan County is definitely picturesque. It was settled in 1887 by Mormon pioneers.

10. Park City

Park City might get the award for Most Picturesque Main Street. Plenty of quaint shops, incredible restaurants and bars...and access to the chairlifts, of course.

11. Richfield

Richfield, the Sevier County seat, is a thriving, bustling little town that draws residents of nearby towns to eat, shop and play.

12. Spring City

Spring City had less than 1,000 residents in the 2012 Census. It’s long been a community in which farming is important, but the artist community there is growing, too.

13. Springdale

When Zion National Park is in your backyard, your town is automatically picturesque.

14. Torrey

Torrey is the tiniest town on this list, with just 180 residents in the 2012 Census. It’s ranching country, and picturesque Utah at its finest.

15. Wellsville

The Wellsville mountains lend some scenic beauty to this small town in Cache County.
