Stonehenge II was built over 20 years ago by Al Shepperd and Doug Hill in the nearby town of Hunt and relocated to Ingram in 2009. The stones, made of concrete and steel, are 90% of the height and 50% of the width of the original landmark. Shepperd and Hill weren’t going for an exact replica, but they came close! The property also features two 13-foot replicas of Moai statues on Easter Island. 

Where to Find This Hidden Gem in Texas

Stonehenge II is located at the Hill Country Arts Foundation in Ingram, Texas, a small town with a population of roughly 2,000. It's located about six miles west of Kerrville and six miles east of Hunt along the Guadalupe River. It's easy to access from Interstate 10—take exit 490 onto Highway 27, which you'll follow until it intersects with Highway 39. Keep left onto Highway 39, then turn right onto Point Theatre Road, and the attraction is on the left.
