Step one: map out your road trip!

You can grab and modify our original Google Map as needed.

1. Finders Keepers of Erie, Erie

Let's kick off our epic road trip at Finders Keepers of Erie, where you'll find a huge assortment of items for men, women, and children. Peruse the brightly lit store that's brimming with knickknacks, shoes, purses, jewelry, and home goods. New inventory typically arrives daily. And while we always love a good bargain, we especially love the amazing customer service and friendly owners.

Erie, PA is also one of our favorite cities to visit in the summer. Be sure to do some sight-seeing and beach lounging while you're here!

2. St. Mary Thrift Store, Langhorne

Boasting the slogan "not your average thrift store experience," St. Mary Thrift Store always has new inventory. Explore the thrift store that sells furniture, books, games, jewelry, clothing, and small appliances. Visit on Tuesdays and Thursdays for half off of all clothing (except coats). And, seniors 55 and older receive 25 percent off of purchases on Wednesdays.

Editor's Note: Unfortunately, this St. Mary location has permanently closed. But just a few hops away you'll find another thrifting "treasure" to check out: Sloan's Thrift! We've added this local shop to our list and modified our map accordingly.

3. Sloan's Thrift, Bristol

While perhaps not the largest thrift store in PA, you'll definitely be surprised by the selection at Sloan's Thrift. This veteran-owned shop is typically packed with new and nearly-new furniture, in addition to unexpected treasures and one-of-a-kind apparel items.

4. Riddle Thrift Shop, Media

Explore the three-story Riddle Thrift Shop on our next stop in Media, where you'll discover a trove of treasures. Find rocking chairs, dishware, clothing, musical instruments, and pet supplies. You might even spy vintage decorations that remind you of mom's or grandma's house.

Editor's Note: Since the original publication of this article, Riddle Thrift has sadly closed. Hop on over to Value Thrift next! We've modified our map to reflect the change.

5. Value Thrift Shop, Aldan

We have no doubt that you'll walk out of Value Thrift Shop with an armful of great buys, this shop specializes in furniture... it's a sea of both modern and vintage décor here! Whether decorating your new place or looking for a priceless addition to your photography studio, you'll find it here. Plus, proceeds go towards childhood cancer research.

6. Uncle Funky’s Thrift Shop, Denver

Well, we can't really pass up a shop with a name as cool as Uncle Funky's Thrift Shop, can we? Expect the unexpected at this funky and fun thrift shop that sells plenty of vintage and new items. Uncover such treasures as unique jewelry, clothing, CDs, purses, and autographed baseballs. (And, that's just the beginning.)

7. Blue Mountain Thrift Store, Palmyra

Go shopping at our next stop, Blue Mountain Thrift Store. The central PA thrift shop sells both new and used merchandise, including men's, women's, and children's clothing, furniture, dolls, dishware, books, and plenty more. (Plan to spend plenty of time here if you want to see everything.)

8. Red White & Blue Thrift Store, Pittsburgh (multiple locations)

Alas, we've come to our final stop on our bargain hunters road trip, Red White & Blue Thrift Store in Pittsburgh. The city has two to choose from, but you'll also find a few outside of PA as well. Carve out plenty of time for your visit to our final stop. The store boasts a large selection of clothes, shoes, DVDs, old school records, books, and other goodies.

Whether treasure-hunting or itching for some vintage finds, this bargain hunters thrift store road trip is the perfect weekend adventure! Of course, we can't fit all of Pennsylvania's coolest thrift stores into our short itinerary. So, if you want to add or to remove destinations, feel free. Whatever you do, have fun!
