Oregon offers a diverse and unique pizza experience with various regional styles and inspired pies.
Oregon might be best-known for amazing seafood, but that's not the only culinary trick up our state's sleeve. Pizza, the most perfect, anytime-of-the-day, any-season-of-the-year food, is another Oregon specialty. Not only can you find pretty much every regional pizza represented here in the Beaver State, but you'll also discover some truly inspired pies that are full of PNW flair. So buckle up and get ready to embark on the ultimate pizza journey through Oregon.
The following pizzerias can be visited on their own; or, if you're feeling saucy, visit them all at once during an Oregon pizza tour de force! If you opt for the latter, here's a Google Map to help plan your adventure.
Ken’s Artisan Pizza - Portland
One of the most popular pizzerias in Portland, Ken's Artisan Pizza is pretty darn near perfect. In addition to earning major critical acclaim *and* making pretty much every nationwide "best pizza" listical, this classic pizzeria has a cult-like following -- and as soon as you try the Pizza Margherita, you'll understand why. These wood-fired pizzas are known for their tangy-sweet sauce and thin, crispy crust.
Baby Doll Pizza - Portland
Baby Doll Pizza boasts authentic, New York style pizza with the dough, sauces, and cheeses made in-house. Ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible -- and as an added bonus, they have vegan pies, too!
Life of Pie Pizza - Portland
Life of Pie Pizza is a perennial Portland favorite, with its wood-fired 'zas coming out hot and crispy in a way only a pizza basking in an 800-degree Fahrenheit oven can.
American Dream Pizza - Corvallis
You expect big things from a placed called American Dream Pizza, and this Corvallis institution delivers (literally, too!). There are two locations in town, each boasting the to-die-for Dream dough and locally sourced toppings. Pro tip: try the Edward Abbey Pizza, a delightful veg-forward pie featuring pesto and feta!
Woodstock's Pizza Parlor - Corvallis
In Corvallis, Oregon, Woodstock’s Pizza Parlor is a longstanding institution with a reputation for fresh, delicious pizzas and a fun and friendly atmosphere. The pies are always hot and delicious, and the dining area is a total '70s throwback -- in the best possible way!
Gallucci's Pizzeria - Lincoln City
If you're looking for the total pizza package, you'll find it at Gallucci's Pizzeria in Lincoln City. This old-school pizzeria boasts a salad bar with no less than 33 different items, plus delicious pizzas, and even a game room! This is the kind of retro throwback from our high school days that's just plain fun.
Pizza A' Fetta - Cannon Beach
After a day spent in the lovely seaside town of Cannon Beach, a slice of pizza is in order. A *massive* slice, that is. You'll find such beauties at Pizza A' Fetta, a place where the "slices" are basically the size of an entire pizza... and we're not mad about it.
Apizza Scholls - Portland
You simply can't have a discussion about Oregon pizza without including Apizza Scholls. A Portland favorite since 2005, this pizzeria is known for Neapolitan-style pizzas with impossibly crispy-yet-chewy crusts. To keep the crust perfectly crisp, there's a three-topping limit on pies, but there are plenty of toppings to choose from, so you're sure to satisfy whatever 'za you're craving!
