NW Wine Shuttle offers convenient day trips to explore multiple award-winning wineries in Oregon's Willamette Valley.

Wine-lovers are surely in heaven in Oregon's Willamette Valley, which is a prime grape-growing region that's home to more than 500 wineries. Yamhill County has more than 80 award-winning wineries and vineyards, and you can take a shuttle to tour up to 15 of them. Check this out!

Are you ready to explore some of Oregon's incredible vineyards? One of the best ways to do so is via shuttle. Relax, enjoy, and let someone else worry about the driving.

NW Wine Shuttle offers day trips from four different pick-up/drop-off locations, and has 15 different tasting rooms for you to choose from.

The shuttle company's home base is in Dundee, at the Inn At Red Hills. You can choose this location as a pick-up spot, then book several days on the shuttle to stay overnight in the area and explore several wineries.

The day pass from this location is $44.99, and includes seven hours of transportation from pickup between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and return at or before 5 p.m.

If you're coming from Portland, you can arrange for the shuttle to pick you up near the downtown Portland Hilton hotel.

The day pass from Portland costs $74.99, and includes six hours of transportation. You'll leave at 10:30 a.m. and return at 6:15 p.m.

If you'd rather arrange pick-up and drop-off from the Portland Sunset Transit Center, you can do so with the same cost and departure/arrival times as the downtown Portland option.

The fourth option for pick-up and drop-off is downtown McMinnville.

You'll meet up right in front of Grain Station Brew Works at 10:45 a.m. and return at 5:30 p.m. The day pass for this option is $49.99.

The shuttle swings by each location every 30 minutes. Your day pass includes unlimited travel throughout the day between the 15 tasting rooms, but the company suggests that you choose 3-4 favorites to visit so you can take your time to enjoy each stop.

Tastings range from $15 - $30, depending on the tasting room.

If you love full-bodied red wines, NW Wine Shuttle recommends that you try Remy Wines, Tertulia Cellars, and Cougar Crest.

Pinor Noir enthusiasts will enjoy a trip that includes Archery Summit, White Rose, Vista Hills, and Domaine Serene.

For a day that includes crisp, white wines with patio seating and vineyard views, choose Durant Vineyards, Hyland Estates, and Stoller Family Estate.

Of course, you can create a personalized trip with the tasting rooms that interest you the most.
