Marlow was first settled in the mid-1800s, before Oklahoma was a state, by the old west pioneers. The Chisholm Trail once passed right through Marlow, making it a popular area for stampeding. The town became known as "Outlaw Country" and is rich in history, especially centered around a group of five brothers - the Marlows.

This monument in town tells the story of the brothers' unjust arrest for thievery and their escape, which eventually exonerated them. The town now pays tribute to the family and their heritage. Make sure to stop and check it out while visiting.

The town features a unique downtown filled with southern charm, mom-and-pop shops, and a laid-back atmosphere. It's the perfect place to go to get a good feel of the charming character of Marlow.

Redbud Park is a popular park in town that is filled with beautiful walking trails, historic monuments, and much more. It's full of peaceful spots where you can enjoy the great outdoors, without the crowds.
