The park gets its name from the stunning Charleston Falls, a 37-foot behemoth that eventually empties into the Great Miami River.

The preserve is home to several miles of wildlife trails on which adventurers can admire flora, fauna, and beautiful limestone cliff faces. It makes for a great day trip, no matter the season.

Charleston Falls Preserves even offers many boardwalks and observation towers to check out your surroundings. The hikes are simple and suitable even for children or novice-level hikers. The preserve is open from 8 a.m. to sunset daily.
