The garden center is open throughout the year, but during the fall it transforms into an absolute pumpkin paradise! They've been a local favorite pumpkin patch for over 30 years.
All over the center you'll find pumpkins of all shapes and sizes that have been grown by local farmers right here in New York. Take your time walking through the patch - picking the perfect pumpkin is important!
Sunnyside even features a Hall of Flame walk through in the dark where you can view hundreds of carved pumpkins. This family-friendly fall festival is great for kids of all ages.
And while there's plenty of things to experience at Sunnyside, one of our favorite attractions is their train ride.
The only ride-on train that you'll find in the area, those who hop on board will get to enjoy a ride around the pumpkin patch. Kids will especially love this attraction.
Sunnyside is free and open to all visitors, but to go for a ride on their delightful blue train you'll have to pay three dollars.

This isn't the only train attraction that they offer though. Step inside the main building and you can find a whimsical model train running.
