There’s A Wildlife Park In New York That’s Perfect For A Family Day Trip

Less than a half-hour east of Binghamton, New York's Animal Adventure Park is perfect for visitors of all ages.

The park is home to over 200 animals that are waiting to greet you and you'll be able to have hands-on encounters with.

For an extra price, the Animal Adventure Park even offers a Sloth Encounter experience where you'll be able to hand-feed and visit with resident sloths.

With so many different species that call the Animal Adventure Park home, you can expect to see animals like black bears, zebras, horses, capybara, monkeys and lemurs...

...And even Arctic wolves, lions, alligators, lizards and snakes.

Let's also not forget about the wide assortment of birds they have from elegant peacocks to friendly ducks and chickens.

But if you thought that this animal park sounded familiar, it's most likely because of Animal Adventure Park's most famous resident.

Last year April the Giraffe went viral after live videos from her pregnancy and birth were put on YouTube and reached over a million views.

Another fun fact to know? April the Giraffe was actually born at the Catskill Game Farm!

Visitors at the park will get the chance to feed over 150 different kinds of animals, an activity that younger visitors will never grow tired of.
