Take The New Jersey Donut Trail For A Delightfully Delicious Day Trip
New Jersey offers a delightful donut trail featuring some of the best donut shops across the state.
If there's one thing New Jersey knows, it's food. You can find some of the most delicious meals you've ever had across the state. Of course, there's one item in particular New Jersey does really well: the donut. There are multiple shops in the state that whip up the most amazing sweet breakfast treats. So, to celebrate the plethora of brilliant donuts in New Jersey, we've created a donut trail across the state for you to follow for a delightfully delicious day trip. Start in Northern Jersey and make your way down south with a pit stop along the Jersey Shore to sample all these memorable donuts. (Or go in reverse! Whatever works for you!)
Beignets, Denville
The beignet's at Beignets are, of course, delectable. But you can build your own donut here, which is a real treat.
Glaze Donuts, West Caldwell
Make sure you head to Glaze Donuts on a weekend, as that's the only time you can snag the donut shop's famous Italian Rainbow Cookie-Donut.
Curiosity Donuts, Princeton
Curiosity Donuts operated with, well, curiosity. They're constantly coming up with creative donut ideas. We're partial to the S'mores flavor.
Duck Donuts, Avalon
Duck Donuts offers some of the best treats around — it's especially known for the vanilla cake donut, made fresh.
Fractured Prune, North Wildwood
There are thousands of donut varieties here, and the shop loves to personalize each treat. Donuts and mornings on the beach just go perfectly together, right?
Broad Street Co, Oakhurst
There are so many different kinds of donuts available here, typically over a dozen kinds each day. Plus, you can find vegan and gluten-free ones, too!
Haddonfield Donut Company, Haddonfield
Come here for the classics, at which Haddonfield Donut Company excels. However, they have some inventive takes on donuts, too.
Mama Buntz Donut Company, Sewell
All donuts are "hand-dipped" and they end up almost being too beautiful to eat.
After a day on this New Jersey donut trail, your sweet tooth will be properly satisfied.
