Cathedral Ledge, North Conway
The start of this road trip to some of the most amazing natural wonders in New Hampshire is at Cathedral Ledge, where you can take in a breathtaking view of the mountains that you'll be traveling through.

Bonus Stop: Diana's Baths
If the day is hot - or even if it isn't - you won't want to miss Diana's Baths, a series of waterfalls that is just down the street from Cathedral Ledge. It's arguably one of the most beautiful places in New Hampshire. This area is simply beautiful all year round and especially in the early spring when the snow starts to melt and the waterfalls are raging. Jackson Falls, Jackson
After you're finished with Cathedral Ledge and Diana's Baths, head North to Jackson Falls. These beautiful falls are right along the roadside, giving you easy access.
Mount Washington Auto Road, Jackson
Continue North to the Mount Washington Auto Road. This half-hour drive will take you to the highest peak in the North East, and you'll enjoy breathtaking views on one of the most scenic road trips in New Hampshire. Just remember to pack a jacket, because it's much cooler at the summit!

Spot a Moose, Gorham
As you drive north before turning west on Route 2, look for moose, which are plentiful in this area. If you're really determined to see one, you can even take a moose tour.
Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge, Jefferson

The Flume Gorge, Franconia Notch State Park

Lunch in Lincoln
After exploring Franconia Notch, stop for lunch in charming Lincoln. As you drive through, enjoy the beautiful views. If you're looking for things to do in New Hampshire, Lincoln is a lovely town to explore.
Drive the Kancamagus Highway
From Lincoln, turn onto NH112, better known as the lovely Kancamagus Highway. Take your time on the drive, appreciating the views and exploring the many turnoffs that are full of natural wonder. Lower Falls, Albany
Last along one of the most scenic road trips in New Hampshire is a place found along the Kankamangus Highway. You'll end your day of exploration viewing the Swift River at Lower Falls in Albany. The water is cool but clear and ultra-refreshing on warm days if you care to take a dip.
