1. Big Timber

Located in south-central Montana, this agricultural area has a strong community feel. Known for outdoor recreation, stunning scenery, and the gateway to the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, Big Timber is quintessential Montana.

2. Stevensville

3. Shelby

6. Neihart

Neihart is a small Montana town surrounded by the Lewis and Clark National Forest. It has about 35 permanent residents. Established in the early 1880s as a mining camp, it now serves as a gateway to amazing recreational opportunities.

7. Roundup

Located in the valley near the Musselshell River and close to the Bull Mountains, Roundup has been long-known for its geography, which lends itself to rounding up livestock. The annual Roundup Cattle Drive is one of the town's highlights.

8. Eureka

This small, rural town is surrounded by the Kootenai National Forest and on the backside of Glacier National Park. It has great outdoor activities, but also a charming downtown with friendly faces and great restaurant and shopping options.
