All aboard the Branson Scenic Railway!
Your journey begins at the Branson depot. It's here that you can purchase your train tickets.
The 40-mile round trip takes you through the Ozarks with the north route going as far as the James River Valley and the south route taking you through Barren Fork Trestle in Arkansas.
You'll get to soak in some histroy as you pass numerous landmarks such as Crest Tunnel, Cricket Tunnel, Walnut Creek Trestle, Barren Fork Trestle, and Tharp’s Grade.
In addition to passing over Lake Taneycomo, the Branson Scenic Railway runs through areas in the Ozarks that are unattainable by car.
You'll also pass through some adorable small towns, like Hollister, during your ride. Some of the extinct communites you'll pass through are Gretna, Ruth and Melva.
Hungry? Then grab a bite to eat in one of their fancy dining cars during a dinner ride. The big glass windows give you a great view of the Ozarks.
