This converted rail trail takes you a little over 12 miles through small towns like Cheshire, Lanesborough, and Adams. While some trails are out in secluded landscapes, this rail trail isn't far from home.

In the winter, this rail trail is perfect for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. There are restrooms along the way if you get tired along this 12-mile trek.

The path is well-paved and roughly 10-feet wide. If you're not into biking, this is also a great spot to go rollerblading.
