You’ll Want To Plan A Day Trip To Maryland’s Magical Butterfly House

Think you've done just about everything there is to do this summer? How about being surrounded by hundreds of exotic butterflies? No? Well then check out the following spot that will make you feel like you're in a fairy tale.

Brookside Gardens is a little slice of paradise located in Wheaton.

You can peruse the gardens year-round and each season has something different to offer.

The best part about summer is the butterfly exhibit, known as Wings of Fancy.

Enter the butterfly house that's filled with dozens of species of colorful butterflies from all over the world, including North America, Costa Rica, Africa and Asia.

You may even make a winged friend or two while you're there.

This year, the exhibit runs through September 16th, 2018. Cost is $8 for those 13 and older, $5 for ages 3 to 12, and ages under 3 are free.
