1. January - Thurmont
We love starting the new year with a winter hike, and Thurmont is perfectly located to do just that. 2. February - St. Michaels
St. Michaels is one of the best areas in Maryland for a romantic getaway. This little town is full of cozy bed and breakfasts that are perfect for couples. 3. March - St. Mary's City

4. April - Chesapeake City
This unique town in Cecil County is right along the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, making for ship-viewing all day long. 5. May - Solomons
As the weather warms, consider heading to Solomons, Maryland. This area offers water views, great seafood restaurants, a small beach, and plenty of pretty photo ops. 6. June - Stevensville
Some of the best bay views in the state can be seen from Stevensville on Kent Island. Whether you explore by foot or by bicycle, you're in for a beautiful time.
7. July - Berlin
This Eastern Shore town is full of character, from its stores to its family-friendly events. There's even a Mermaid Museum! Don't forget that Maryland's famous Assateague Island is also technically in Berlin, where you can visit the beach, see wild horses, and even camp right on the sand.
8. August - North Beach / Chesapeake Beach
The towns of North Beach and Chesapeake Beach are located right next to each other, and right next to the bay as well. Many fishermen head here, as well as folks looking for a relaxing getaway. There's also a local water park, unique restaurants, and resorts.
9. September - Chestertown

10. October - Oakland
Oakland's annual Autumn Glory Festival takes place every October, and it's a multi-day event! 12. December - Havre de Grace
