Here’s The Perfect Weekend Itinerary If You Love Seeing Kansas’s Magical Christmas Lights

Have you gone out to see the holiday lights in Kansas yet? If not, I'm excited to guide you through a few of our Christmas lights displays as well as a stunning place to stay and a couple of tasty restaurants to keep you fueled. Happy travels! Hopefully, your adventure, whether you add or change the items on it, is a good one! First, let's start with a warm dinner.

1. The Western Kansas Saloon in Wakeeney is a great place to fuel up for your adventure.

They serve classic American meals that are sure to satisfy even the pickiest eater. Stop by The Western Kansas Saloon, a local favorite, for delicious food and friendly service.

2. Then, enjoy the lights in the center of everything.

In Wakeeney, their Christmas lights are the best part of the season, and people flock from all over just to see them light up the night. It's one of the brightest holiday light displays in Kansas. Visit this gingerbread village for spectacular holiday décor, shopping, and fun for the entire family!

3. Afterward, head to Russell to see the Kansas Christmas Wonderland.

The town of Russell has plenty of lights both here and around town to see, and maybe you'll even catch the train while you're here! Stop by the Kansas Christmas Wonderland for all your seasonal needs. It's a holiday shopping destination that is sure to put you in the holiday mood.

4. The Isle of Lights in Beloit

This video drive-through of the lights in Beloit in 2013 by Alex Harbaugh really shows how long this drive might be if you take your time. However, no matter what speed you use, I'm sure it'll be a perfect trip through the lights for you.

5. Call it a night at the Rosberg House bed & breakfast.

It might not be covered in lights, but the bright colors of the Rosberg House Bed & Breakfast are almost as good. After all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and what better place to eat than a multicolored home?

6. For lunch, make a pit stop in Newton at the Breadbasket.

7. Then, head towards The ARC's Lights in Wichita.

The light show is a local favorite, and feature almost 2 million lights this year. Wowza! Considered one of the largest drive-thru light displays in Kansas, you and your family will not want to miss this dazzling show that's been entertaining guests for more than 25 years.

8. Round off your trip at Winfield's Isle of Lights.

The Isle of Lights in Winfield, Kansas, is a stunning finish to this Christmas Lights road trip we've created, and no matter how you change the events listed, make sure you're having fun. There's no denying that the Isle of Lights is a perfect stop to see holiday lights in Kansas.
