1. Learn about Lawrence and Kansas history at the Watkins Museum, where they're rich with knowledge. Who knows, maybe you'll learn something new?

2. One of the bigger museums in Lawrence, this place holds numerous glories of the arts within. It's irresistible if you have a love for art, I promise.

3. Lunch at Terrebonne Cafe where they have fantastic po'boys and their desserts aren't easy to ignore, either.

4. The KU Natural History Museum is a great find here, with plenty to learn about the environment and our wildlife.

5. Prairie Park Nature Center is a home run for the kids, with black footed ferrets (which are so adorable!) and plenty of activities for little hands.

6. Dinner at Thai Diner, probably the best Thai food in the city, this place is my go-to stop when I'm in town. Seriously, they've got something for everyone.

7. Just about any pop you could want at Mass Street Soda. Seriously, they have a ridiculous amount of soda. Try new favorites or find that missing piece to your collection.
