Drive Or Walk Through 4 Million Holiday Lights At Christmas Wonderland In Illinois

The best Christmas wonderland lights can be found in Alton, Illinois this year. This drive-through attraction allows visitors to walk the grounds one night only, and it's an experience you won't want to miss.

Taking place in Southern Illinois, Christmas Wonderland is an annual holiday event that will run between November 29, 2019 to December 29, 2019.

It is a drive-thru adventure that features more than four million LED lights shining brightly. This world of lights is the brightest thing you'll see all season.

One night only, guests will be allowed to walk through this enchanting holiday display and see the sights from a different angle.

Walk-through night is Monday, December 2nd, and the price is just $1 per person. The length of the path is about one and a half miles.

A group of volunteers known as the Grandpa Gang put this spectacular display together each season, and it has only grown as the years have passed.

It is an annual tradition to many in the area to visit this wonderful holiday attraction at least once each season before it truly feels like Christmas.

At the end of the trail of lights, there will be opportunities for children to meet Santa and for everyone to vote on the best Christmas tree in the Enchanted Forest.
