You've probably heard big cities like New York or Chicago referred to as pizza capitals of the country (or even the world), but there's a tiny town in the Sunshine State that might just give them a run for their money. You've probably never heard of this little city in Pinellas County with only around 4,000 people, but there's a pizza place here that's so good it just might put Indian Rocks Beach on the map.

If you live here, you probably already know what place we're talking about, but for everyone else, we want to introduce you to Slyce Pizza Bar.

So what do people love so much about Slyce? Well, the atmosphere is modern and stylish, yet comfortable. You could easily have a nice date night or a family get-together here.

If you like some entertainment with your meal, they also host some of the most talented local artists with performances nearly every day of the week.

There are plenty of craft beers, wines, and cocktails to choose from, too.

The best part, of course, is the artisan, stone-baked pizza, made with the freshest ingredients. Slyce is best known for their creative specialty pies. You can get most of them by the slice, too, which is awesome for indecisive eaters.

There's the "Pear A Dice," topped with olive oil, fresh sliced pear, Gorgonzola and Mozzarella cheeses topped with sliced Prosciutto. Or how about a French Dip pizza? This delicious creation has horseradish cream sauce, thinly sliced roast beef, and a blend of Provolone, Fontina and Mozzarella cheeses, with au jus for dipping.

You won't find a better deep dish pizza outside of Chicago. This beast has Mozzarella on the bottom, with layers of ham, sausage, meatballs, bacon, more cheese, and then topped with sauce.
