It's full-on holiday season, and folks have turned to decorating their homes and settings with some stunning light displays! In North Texas, there's really no such thing as "too many lights" when it comes to celebrating. While some displays are free, others cost a small fee (either per person or per carload) to see the attractions. We've picked out some of the best around, so follow this road trip for a magical display to get into the spirit of the season!

1. Gift of Lights at Texas Motor Speedway (3545 Lone Star Circle - Fort Worth)

This attraction provides a unique perspective of driving through the speedway and even under the seating area. Then, park and venture into Santa's Village. Cost is $25 per car.

2. Tour of Lights (Valley View Lane at Interstate 35 - Farmers Branch)

This free drive-through light display features Santa as the grand finale! (This display has been discontinued)

3. Vitruvian Lights (3966 Vitruvian Way - Vitruvian Park / Addison)

This beautiful, free walk-through park features a stunning tree light display.

4. Magical Winter Lights (1000 Lone Star Pkwy. - Lone Star Park / Grand Prairie)

This light display makes its debut this year in the Metroplex after success in the Houston area. Expect spectacular light displays, Chinese acrobats, Asian-influences of lanterns, and a full food court. Tickets are $21.

5. Prairie Lights (5610 Lake Ridge Pkwy. - Grand Prairie)

This drive-through display charges by the carload ($35-$45), but you can also park and walk through a magic lighted forest and snow maze.

6. Enchant Christmas (1000 Ballpark Way - Globe Life Park / Arlington)

It can snow in Texas... at least at this attraction! Participants can walk through a large light maze, play games, ice skate, and more. Tickets are $21.95-$29.95.

7. Interlochen Holiday Lights Tradition (enter at Westwood Dr. and Randoll Mill Rd. - Arlington)

Over 30 homes in this neighborhood put on the sparkliest show around, filled with twinkling lights and Christmas-themed displays. Bonus: it's free!

8. Diamond Loch Christmas Lights Display (6300 Diamond Loch Dr. - North Richland Hills)

This beloved neighborhood tour includes synchronized music with a Grinch theme.

9. Grapevine Main Street (Grapevine)

The wide array of holiday light displays, shops, free entertainment and activities has earned the City of Grapevine the unofficial title of "The Christmas Capital of Texas." It is definitely worth driving through its historic main street area.
