Since opening its doors in 1973, millions of bargain hunters have strolled through 160 acres of Traders Village in Grand Prairie in search of a good deal. This open-air flea market - known as the largest one in Texas - has more than 3,500 dealers, all of which want to help you wheel, deal, and leave happy. The market's motto is to "come for the shopping and stay for the fun!" Here's what you will find here:
The flea market was an instant success in 1973 and continues to grow each year.
Today, it encompasses 160 acres!
The park is located at 2602 Mayfield Road, Grand Prairie.
Best time to shop is 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Saturdays and Sundays. Parking is $4; admission is free.

Shows and special events are held most weekends, such as this Native American Pow Wow.

Traders Village goes all out with rides for all ages.
