Since opening its doors in 1973, millions of bargain hunters have strolled through 160 acres of Traders Village in Grand Prairie in search of a good deal. This open-air flea market - known as the largest one in Texas - has more than 3,500 dealers, all of which want to help you wheel, deal, and leave happy. The market's motto is to "come for the shopping and stay for the fun!" Here's what you will find here:

The flea market was an instant success in 1973 and continues to grow each year.

Canton, usually a small town 60 miles east of Dallas on Interstate 20, supports a population boom of 250,000 visitors each month. It swells to become the seventh largest city in Texas when Trade Days are happening. More than 7,000 vendor spaces are set up in the 450-acre First Monday Park each month.

Canton trade days are held Thursday through Sunday prior to the first Monday of the month, year round.

The East Gate Entrance is located at 361 S. Trade Days Blvd., Canton, 75103. Free parking is plentiful, and scooter rentals are also available. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes!
