Litchfield
You'll want to start your drive in the beautiful town of Litchfield. This picturesque and gorgeous town surrounded by lakes and forests will incite love at first sight. The history and charm of this town draw you in and invites you to stay a little while.

Mount Tom
Located on Route 202 south of Litchfield, Mount Tom State Park is where you will want to be to see the best of New England. From the top of Mount Tom Tower, you will be mesmerized by views of the Long Island Sound, the Catskills, and Mount Everett.
Kent Falls
You can spend a whole day exploring the natural beauty of Kent Falls State Park. The gorgeous waterfalls aren't the only feature you will love about this 300-acre park. Enjoy time getting close to nature with wildlife hikes on the trails and kayaking and fishing in the Housatonic River.

Bulls Bridge
Located in Kent, Bulls Bridge is one of only three remaining covered bridges in Connecticut. The historic bridge was made in 1842 and sits over the rushing Housatonic River. The sound of the roaring river and the beautiful foliage around the river and bridge will make this one of your favorite spots to drive through.
White Memorial Conservation Center
With 4,000 acres and 40 miles of trails to trek, the White Memorial Conservation Center is everything you can hope for when it comes to exploring the best in Connecticut scenery. Not only can you see some of the true artistry of Mother Nature in action, but you can also take some time to visit the nature museum.
St Johns Ledges
When you're ready to fully challenge yourself, stop off to hike St Johns Ledges near Kent, CT. The steep incline is made for experienced hikers and is a challenge from mile one. Take your time and congratulate yourself on the well-earned view from Caleb's Peak. It's worth every step.
Eric Sloane Museum
Last, but definitely not least, when you want to stop someplace tranquil visit the Eric Sloane Museum. Celebrating the talent and collection of author and artist Eric Sloane, the museum feels like you have stepped back in time to a more simple time. It's an incredible experience of early 20th-century art and antiquities that is worth the visit.
