We've curated a fun book-themed road trip in Connecticut for you. The total one-way driving time is a little less than two hours, so you'll have plenty of time to peruse all the shelves at each stop!
This is a fun little trip that won't take up much of your time, and it's perfect for anyone who loves books in Connecticut.
Before you hit the road, you'll want to stop for a bite to eat. What better spot to get a bite to eat than The Traveler Restaurant?
This spot not only has great comfort food, it's also got plenty of books, and you get one free with each meal. The building is also home to the Cellar Bookstore, where you can purchase additional books. The grab bags are a great way to get more bang for your buck and discover new authors.
Your next stop will be in Hartford at the Mark Twain House and Museum. Mark Twain was perhaps the most famous American novelist of all time, and many of his best known works were written right here in Connecticut.
His home is now a fantastic museum where you can learn all about his life and works.
