Shockingly enough, you can travel through the entire state on Amtrak for just $10 a ticket! We've got quite a few train stations in Connecticut. You can purchase a ticket going all the way through the state (or even to another nearby state), or just get a shorter trip.

Amtrak's Vermonter train travels to a number of popular destinations in the northeast. It runs daily from northern Vermont all the way down to Washington, D.C.

A train ride through Connecticut is a great way to experience the Constitution State. Trains allow you to admire the scenery better than you could while driving in a car. Not having to worry about gas station fill-ups or traffic jams are another major benefit!

The northernmost train station in Connecticut is Windsor Locks.
