I have said it before and I'll say it again: The smaller the town, the better the food. Wouldn't you agree? To prove this statement, we have compiled a list of 14 small town Colorado restaurants recommended by you, our awesome and food savvy readers, including:

1. Hunger Buster (Westcliffe)

Get ready to have your hunger busted at this highly recommended Westcliffe favorite, which has been serving burgers, fries, and their famous deep fried burritos since 1992.

2. Frontier Diner (Cheraw)

Are you surprised that a town with a population of only 250 serves some of the best home-cooked meals in the state? If you are, you have obviously never been to the Frontier Diner.

3. Dutch Mill Cafe (Antonito)

The people have spoken and have given the Dutch Mill AT LEAST a 4-star rating on Google, Facebook, TripAdvisor and Yelp. (And are we surprised? Umm, no.)
