If you've ever taken the time to explore Western New York's wine trail, then you may have seen the signs for Spring Lake Winery in the small city of Lockport.

Less than an hour north of us, Spring Lake Winery is a serene little vineyard that sits right along the shores of a private 8-acre lake.

The winery is family owned and operated, with a knowledgeable staff that will point you in the direction of which wines will suit you best.

On the property, you'll find that Spring Lake Winery grows their own Riesling, while they also get hand-picked grapes shipped in from the West Coast to add variety.

Visitors can explore the grounds as they please as they enjoy the fantastic wine, with nature trails to explore and chairs set up all around the lakefront.

Even featuring its own cafe that has wonderful food, Spring Lake Winery has everything you need for the perfect day trip.

On the cafe's menu, you'll find everything from gourmet soups to wraps and delicious sandwiches that you can choose to feast on either in the tank room, the lodge, or at one of the tables set up outside at the lakeside park. Many of the menu items feature ingredients that were grown right here on the property, with all entrees being freshly made to order.
