The Trains Always Run On Time In Arkansas’s Tiniest Town

Tiny Town in Hot Springs offers a unique experience with its expansive, hand-made miniature scenes and moving parts.

If you’re looking for a place where you can feel like a kid again, look no further than Tiny Town. Okay, I know Tiny Town sounds like a PBS Kids program, but it’s not. It’s a store located in Hot Springs, and everything there is literally tiny. There’s no better place to go if you’d like to feel like an all-powerful giant while you have a big time giggling like a little kid.

Tiny Town is located at 374 Whittington Avenue in Hot Springs.

The outside of Tiny Town is pretty adorable, but you’ll want to brace yourself when you walk through the doors.

That’s because Tiny Town’s tiny town is actually expansive and has many moving parts that never fail to impress.

Tiny Town becomes even more impressive when you consider how it was made. Of all the structures, figures, and bits of scenery you’ll see at Tiny Town, 95% were hand made by the owners out of simple materials.

That makes Tiny Town not only a series of fun scenes in miniature, but also a truly massive, painstaking art project.

You can run the trains yourself and watch them wind through the expanse of tiny communities and tiny farms, past tiny trees and tiny people, through tiny tunnels.

Whether you’re there to feel like you’re a giant in a tiny world, to run the trains, or simply to enjoy the impressive, detailed work put into the scenes, you’re sure to have a big time at Tiny Town.

There’s nothing like seeing the itty bitty town come to life right before your eyes—tiny lights and tiny moving parts make Tiny Town an experience like no other.
