Sweet Clover Alpaca is a small family farm focused on all things alpaca.

This is no petting zoo! The farm has been in business since 2008. Visitors will be able to see the hard work that goes in to all aspects of farm management as well as raising alpacas.

Here you can coo over alpacas and their adorable babies...

Which, if you didn't know, a baby alpaca is called a cria. The correct term for a group of alpaca is a herd. Though, we don't know how anyone could resist saying a "pack of 'paca."

...meet ridiculously fuzzy alpacas...

The herd here is bred to the highest standard of American alpaca criteria. Fine Fleece, Solid Conformation and Gentle Disposition are all achieved by the Sweet Clover alpacas. They're also top ribbon winners in the AOA national show system!

...and even see "naked" alpacas!

During the spring, Sweet Clover hosts an annual shearing event. A professional shearer is brought in and the entire herd is shorn in half a day.

After you've learned about the farm you can take home a souvenir or two.

The alpaca on the this farm have fine fleece that create the warmest hats. Debbie, the owner, hand-spins the alpaca yarn and creates items like hats, mittens, and felted dryer balls. These useful souvenirs are a great way to support the farm!

A day trip to Sweet Clover will reward you and your family with educational tidbits, a look into farm management, and some new friends!
