The Biggest Crawfish Festival In The World Is Coming To Texas This April
The Big Ass Crawfish Bash in Highland Bayou Park, Texas, is the largest crawfish festival in the world, featuring over 50,000 pounds of crawfish, live music, and family-friendly activities.
Everything is bigger in Texas – including crawfish season. The largest crawfish festival in Texas, and most likely the world, the Big Ass Crawfish Bash, is taking over Highland Bayou Park in La Marque this April, and you won’t want to miss it. Over 50,000 pounds of crawfish are served each year, and there’s a massive cook-off with more than 50 participating teams. It’s also for a good cause – much of the proceeds go to local organizations that benefit the community. So come on out, have a great time, and most importantly, eat as much crawfish as your heart desires at this amazing TX crawfish festival!
If you love crawfish, Highland Bayou Park is the place to be April 1-2, 2023.
The annual event set a Guinness World Record in 2017 for the largest serving of crawfish in eight hours: over 58,000 pounds!
Visitors will enjoy all-you-can-eat crawfish, a front-row seat to a crawfish cook-off with more than 50 teams, and so much more.
This year, over 10,000 people are expected to attend the festival. Only a limited number of tickets are available, so get yours ASAP before they're gone.
While crawfish is the star of the show, there are plenty of other activities to keep the fun going all day long.
Sing and dance to live music, peruse hundreds of vendor booths, and soak up the Bay Area sunshine. What could be better than that?
Speaking of vendors, there will be everything from local boutiques to food trucks.
It's like a flea market, concert, and food festival all wrapped up into one event. Boredom isn't even in the realm of possibility!
For those with little ones in tow, rest assured they haven't been forgotten.
A massive fun zone designed just for kids includes bounce houses, inflatable slides, and several other attractions to entertain them while you chow down.
Should you get bored of crawfish (unthinkable, we know - but it happens!) there will be plenty of other delicious eats to choose from.
From classic festival fares like funnel cakes and corn dogs to fresh Gulf seafood, you definitely won't go hungry.
