This Tiny Drive In May Just Be The Best Kept Secret In Texas

Drive-ins are the epitome of nostalgia. Pressing that speaker button on the menu brings back memories of late nights spent laughing and drinking milkshakes with friends during our teenage years, and luckily, there’s a place in Texas where those times can be relived. That restaurant is Storm’s in Lampasas – open since 1950, it’s truly one of the oldest eateries of its kind in the Lone Star State.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here:

Have you ever eaten at Storms? Are there any other old-fashioned drive-ins in Texas that bring back memories? Tell us your favorites!
