Dairyland Is An Old-Fashioned Burger Joint In Texas

This long-standing Alvin eatery serves up all sorts of classic eats, including their iconic Tortilla Burger. An Alvin institution, Dairyland has been serving up delicious eats with a side of nostalgia since 1960. The restaurant came under new ownership in 2015, but nothing has changed about the classic drive-in fare you know and love.

Even the building itself doesn't look much different. Sporting an iconic diner look, right down to the retro sign, it's a place that fosters togetherness and lasting memories.

A trip to Dairyland simply wouldn't be complete without their famous Tortilla Burger. It offers a dining experience like no other, with a crunch that allows the flavors to pop in a truly amazing way.

The meat is 100% all-natural, and you can really taste the difference. Piled high with onions, jalapenos, tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese, there's a reason the Tortilla Burger remains a Dairyland delicacy after more than half a century.

If a fluffy bun is more your speed, rest-assured there are plenty to go around. Specialty burgers feature toppings like bacon, fried jalapenos, and secret sauce, with curly fries and onion rings rounding out the meal. Other sides include tater tots, fried pickles, and corn nuggets, among other tasty tidbits.

Dairyland is known for its burgers, but the menu has much more to offer. Frito pie, seafood, chicken strips, and gourmet hot dogs are just a few of the other options.
