The Most Epic City Park In Texas Has A Ninja Obstacle Course, Zip Line, Food Trucks, And More

I talk a lot about state parks in Texas (and for good reason!), but we have plenty of awesome city parks, too. One of my favorites is San Antonio's Pearsall Park because it's spacious and offers a little bit of everything, from a zipline to a Ninja-inspired obstacle course to a regular lineup of food trucks. It's one of the best city parks in Texas, and I can't wait for you to visit.

When it comes to city parks in Texas, it's hard to beat San Antonio's Pearsall Park. Spanning over 500 acres, this outdoor oasis is a haven for family fun, offering everything from a playground to fitness equipment to an event pavilion.

Food trucks also regularly set up shop in the park.

The playground is the largest in the city, with slides, swings, and other fun activities for the kiddos.

Visitors can also enjoy two splash pads, two basketball courts, lots of picnic tables (some underneath shaded canopies), and so much more.

One of the park's main attractions is its Ninja-inspired obstacle course with climbing walls and other challenges that test strength, agility, and balance.

There is also a kid-friendly zipline that is just thrilling enough while still being totally safe.

Pearsall Park doesn't just cater to kids (although they are VIPs here!). You'll also see a 40-yard sprint timer, pull-up bars, traveling rings, and other fitness equipment perfect for getting your workout in.

A 5K running and walking trail with multiple routes weaves through the park, as well. It's the only public park in the city with trails that don't cross city streets!
