Walk Through 130,000 Square Feet Of Rare And Historic Aircraft At Lone Star Flight Museum In Texas
If you’re an aviation enthusiast, there’s a museum in Texas with your name written all over it. Houston’s Lone Star Flight Museum is home to 130,000 square feet of aircraft, many of which are rare and historic. You’ll learn all about the history of air travel, try your hand at a flight simulator, and maybe even hitch a ride in a vintage Warbird! The whole family is sure to have a blast at this one-of-a-kind destination.
Located in Houston, the Lone Star Flight Museum features more than 24 historically significant aircraft, as well as many artifacts related to the history of aviation.
From getting familiar with the controls in the cockpit to learning the fundamentals of aircraft design, there's plenty to keep both kids and kids at heart entertained all day long.
Even more aircraft are on display outside, so you should allot at least 2-3 hours to see everything.
There are two different kinds, one of which is offered on weekends only at no extra charge (beyond that of general admission). The other simulator is for flight training purposes only.
