This Family-Friendly Park In Texas Has A Zoo, Japanese Garden, Museum And More
If you’re wearied of the same old boring activities, we know a place where fun never ends. One of the best things to do in San Antonio, Brackenridge Park boasts a zoo, Japanese garden, interactive museum, miniature train, and several other family-friendly attractions. It’s a veritable blast for all ages!
Spanning nearly 350 acres, San Antonio's Brackenridge Park is the largest park in the Alamo City.
Located just north of downtown, the park has been a popular destination for local families since 1899, with all sorts of activities that adults and children alike can enjoy.
...and a miniature train that embarks on a 20-minute ride around Brackenridge Park. Riders are welcome to get off at any of the stops and hop back on by showing their train ticket!
Last, but certainly not least, the Witte Museum is your one-stop shop for educational fun. Exhibits focus on natural and Texas history and art, with plenty of interactive opportunities for kids. There's even a treehouse!
