Either way, vintage toys and games of all varieties have an eternal home in the Texas Toy Museum. Boasting over 20,000 retro gaming systems, toy cars, figurines, and so much more, this museum is fun for all ages.
Whether you're part of Generation Z or grew up playing The Legend of Zelda, the Texas Toy Museum in Austin is a must-visit for all ages.
From toy cars to figurines and bobbleheads, there's a little bit of everything, and it all kind of blends together in a beautiful hodgepodge of nostalgia.
You'll see thousands of them here, many of which are rare prototypes acquired directly from the toymakers themselves! Arranged in elaborate scenes, the figures personify childhood imagination in a way that promises to evoke some of your fondest memories.
You'll also see comic books, dolls, collectible trading cards, and virtually any other game or toy you could ever think of.
Visiting the museum is like taking a stroll down memory lane, with each exhibit bringing your inner child a little bit closer to the surface.
Gamers will absolutely love seeing all the retro systems, which range from popular brands such as Sega and Atari all the way to the first home console unit.
Hours are 12-9 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and 12 p.m. until 12 a.m. Friday-Saturday.
