Texas’ Naturally Heated Outdoor Pool Is All You Need This Winter
We Texans are basically fish. If there’s a body of water — be it a creek, lake, river, or swimming pool — you can safely assume we’re getting in it. Normally, it stays warm enough for us to dive in year-round, but what about when we get the urge to take a dip during those rare cold winters (like this one is shaping up to be) that we get every so often? The solution to that dilemma is Big Stacy Pool in Austin. It’s a community pool just like any other, but it has one feature that sets it apart from all the rest: it’s naturally heated by an underground spring! So no matter how cold it gets outside, our thirst for swimming can always be satisfied.
During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.
If you have any questions about the pool, feel free to call 512-445-0304.
Have you ever gone swimming at Big Stacy Pool? Are there any other swimming pools in Texas that are naturally heated? Let us know!
