Watch Thousands Of Holiday Lights Whirl By In An Open-Air Coach On The Christmas Train In Texas
Christmastime wouldn’t feel quite complete without a holiday train ride. This time of year imparts a certain magic that locomotives only amplify with their whimsical nostalgia. Presented by LS Church, the Christmas Train has been Alvin’s premier holiday attraction for two decades. The ride features thousands of dazzling lights and displays, and there’s more festive fun to be had after you get off the train.
At Victory Camp in Alvin, the holiday season can only mean one thing: it's time for the Christmas Train to roll out of the station once again.
Everything from nativity scenes to gingerbread men promises to put a twinkle in the eye of kids one to ninety-two. Fun fact: you'll pass by nearly 280 trees wrapped in lights from trunk to tip!
Excitement starts to grow as you climb aboard and marvel at the Christmas magic everywhere you look.
From the Great Elf Show to photos with Santa to a general store offering ornaments, stuffed animals, and Christmas train apparel, there's enough festive fun to keep the whole family entertained until closing time.
Visitors can indulge in an array of food and beverage options, including the world-famous deep dish pizza from Big Al's.
Either dine indoors, or grab a seat on the spacious patio surrounded by glittering lights galore. Other snacks and drinks include hot cocoa, coffee, cookies, popcorn, cotton candy, and more.
Tickets for the Christmas Train are $10 each when you purchase online (with select time slots just $8) or $12 at the door.
