Wander over to the east side for a truly delightful meal. Hillside Farmacy is as delicious as it is visually stunning, and it has a fascinating story. This 1950s Austin drugstore is now a restaurant, and you’ll definitely want to visit.

This quaint little building on East 11th Street began its life as Hillside Drugstore in the 1950s. Owned by pharmacist Doc Young and his family, this community store was open until the 1970s.

The Hillside Farmacy team restored this dilapidated building and turned it into a gorgeous restaurant. They were even awarded a Preservation Austin Award!

Hillside Farmacy still showcases the drug store's antique wooden display cases, tin ceiling, and tiled floor.

Flavors range from The Pickpocket, a delicious blend of strawberry, basil, and balsamic, to the traditional egg cream. Try these drinks virgin or add a splash of spirits to them!

The steak dauphine will dazzle your taste buds. This flavorful meal is served with chimichuri, potato dauphines, and smoked paprika aioli.

Every Monday night, oysters are half off, and there's plenty of specials on bubbly cocktails. On Tuesdays. Hillside Farmacy serves Adult Happy Meals consisting of a grass-fed Texas burger, fries, and an old fashioned for $15.

Hillside Farmacy serves happy hour every day from 3:00 to 6:00. With half price snacks and beers, you'll want to make this a regular spot!

Hillside Farmacy loves to support local farmers. They'll often serve veggies that have been picked that morning!
