Organized by the Vietnamese Community of Houston and Vicinities, the Chợ Đêm Houston Asian Night Market seeks to promote Asian culture in the city.

It takes place every 1-2 months at Hong Kong 4 City Mall on Bellaire Boulevard.

Despite being Vietnamese-run, the market features cuisine from Japan, China, and several other Asian and Pacific Island nations.

Let the sights, sounds, and smells of mouthwatering street-cart treats guide you as you decide what to chow down on.

As you can see, the market attracts quite a crowd.

Hungry patrons from all corners of Houston descend on the mall, salivating at the thought of sinking their teeth into skewered meats hot off the grill, fresh steamed buns, homemade bubble tea, and so many other Asian delicacies.

In true outdoor food market style, you can either eat while walking around to scope out your next bite or grab a seat at one of the many tables.

They're set up end-to-end, so you'll get a change to meet new people and bond over your shared love of delicious Asian food.

Food is definitely the main event, but it isn't all the market has going for it.
