These 9 Houses In Texas From The 1930s Will Open Your Eyes To A Different Time
We’ve looked at schools and farms from the 1930s in Texas, but what about homes? What about the places people came back to after a long day at work to unwind and be with their families? It’s easy to take our modern luxuries for granted since we don’t know any different (or at least haven’t for quite some time.) To help you put things into perspective, here are 9 homes from nearly a century ago. The differences are vast and make me appreciate what I have today.
During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.
Have you heard stories from parents or grandparents about homes like these? What are your thoughts on this gallery and home life in general in the 1930s? I’d love to hear your comments!
