Tennessee is an absolutely beautiful state, and what better way to see all that it has to offer than by driving from whiskey distillery to whiskey distillery? Granted, we always recommend doing this with a designated driver, but the experience is one that is truly Tennessean. From the banks of the Mississippi to the hills and hollers of the Smokies, this Tennessee Whiskey Trail is a great way to spend your weekend.
The Tennessee Whiskey Trail is a collection of all of the state's whiskey distilleries, highlighting their unique methods, flavors, and histories.
While many of the more popular spots like Dickel and Jack Daniels are on the list, the Trail prominently features the state's small, local distilleries.

Ole Smoky, located in Gatlinburg, is known for their many varieties of flavored moonshine that you'll want to be sure to try.

Chattanooga Whiskey is unique in that it calls itself an Experimental Distillery. Located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, the distillery's focus on development of whiskey-making techniques shines through their tours which allow for lots of hands-on learning about the whiskey-making process.
