What exactly is hot chicken? It's a Nashville specialty that was originated by the Prince family and has since taken on a life of its own. You'll find classic fried chicken breading infused with cayenne pepper, then deep-fried or skillet-fried to crispy, crunchy, fiery perfection. Don't worry! This year, Nashville Hot Chicken Week will offer $7 hot chicken dishes for lunch and dinner from participating restaurants from February 1st to the 7th.
