The Nashville-adjacent town is tight-knit and tidy, a small enclave that boasts one of the best local gems around. Head's Farm is owned by the Head family, and in 2009 the entire establishment began by selling pumpkins in their front yard.

Now, a full ten years later, Head's Farm sells everything from sweet corn to tomatoes! There is also a country store on-site that sells local meats, freshly gathered eggs, flowers, jams, jellies, and sauces. You will also find wrought iron and locally made products from the surrounding area.

In the springtime you can come by and pick your own strawberries! The fields are open for U-Pick mornings with your little ones, or you can visit and snag a basket of pre-picked berries. You can call ahead of time to verify time and availability, or you can check the Head's Farm Facebook page.

Have you ever been to Head's Farm? You can visit for yourself from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, and from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. In June, however, Head's Farm is closed on Mondays.
