Here Are The 7 Most Dangerous Towns In Tennessee To Live In
Tennessee is all sorts of stunning and wonderful, but, unfortunately, no place is absolutely perfect. Even this gorgeous place has a couple of rough spots that may twinge a bit more than others late at night. Based on city crime rates calculated in late 2014, we’ve found seven dangerous towns that will have you locking your doors. Which is a safe practice anyway….? So we’re going to say that you aren’t at a loss. Don’t write these little towns off too quickly, though! You just might miss a gem – that is best visited during the day.

Sweet little Greenville is a historical gold mine and has a darling main street to boot. But crime-wise? You're looking at a 1 in 14 chance of playing the role of 'victim.' Yikes.

Manchester ranks #12 overall when it comes to risk of violent crimes per resident. This of course could be due to the fact Manchester is pretty darn tiny.

This college town makes it way on our list for high crime rates - including violent crime. Get all those kids in school!

We're in love with the downtown, but not the crime rate.

Springfield consistently ranks among the highest crime rates in Tennessee.

No surprises here. Despite Beale Street and Graceland and that rockin' awesome zoo, Memphis has a crime rate of 81 per 1000 people.

Aw, buddy. You're the belle of the ball - but it's the wrong occassion. Crossville has the highest crime rate and has been rated as one of the most dangerous cities in Tennessee. Even if the crime rate might be a bit rough, Cumberland Mountain State Park is here and it's an absolute doozy of a place.
