Chattanooga's Boathouse Rotisserie & Raw Bar is known amongst locals for its easy atmosphere and kind service that is served alongside orders of oysters and fresh juice cocktails.

It's located along the wildly popular Riverwalk, at just under two miles from the Chattanooga hotel district tucked in the heart of downtown. If the weather is nice enough, you can catch sunsets like these on your walk to dinner.

The Boathouse itself is known for its gorgeous outdoor seating area and unique menu. Looking for oysters? It's one of the best known oyster bars in not only the city but the surrounding geographical area.

We'd also recommend you indulge in a Bloody Mary or your favorite cocktail from the full bar — everything is made by hand and tastes fresh and strong.

If you're looking to experience the raw bar, we'd highly recommend not only the Chesapeake Bay Oysters but the steamed clams served with garlic butter and sourdough. Yum!

The appetizers may sound even more delectable, with everything from Jumbo Lump Crabmeat Cocktail to smoked pork nachos and truffle mushrooms served with a side of horseradish sauce.

You can bulk up the middle of your meal with anything from Voodoo Chicken to grilled shrimp or any number of fresh salads. The rotisserie smoked brisket is also all sorts of dreamy, as is the wood grilled ribeye.

You can sign up on the BoathouseChattanooga.Com website for updates and specials, which we'd highly recommend. Daily specials can range anywhere from $$$ off of a regular menu item to half price oysters.
