The Awesome Adventure Park You Can Only Experience Right Here In Tennessee
It’s just about time to head outdoors again after that doozy of a winter we just experienced, and we Tennesseans can hardly wait. It may get hot and sticky and humid but it’s better to be out in our gorgeous state than to waste away on the couch, and we’re already scanning the weather forecast to see what to expect in the coming months. As we were researching, we came across The Adventure Park at Five Oaks. Located in Sevierville, Tennessee, this just may be the perfect place to spend a summer day…the sunshine is not too far off, folks!
Spring has sprung, and that means the summer of 2018 is right on its heels. We don't know about you, but we've been working on our warm weather bucket list for months now, and one of our top spots is the Adventure Park at Five Oaks.
Located in the gorgeous Great Smoky Mountains (which is the most visited national park in the United States, we might add. It's popular!), the Adventure Park gives you all sorts of exciting options to enjoy the great outdoors.
Perhaps you're a zipline fan?
Then you and the entire family can speed through the forest from 50 to 70 mph, past trees and streams and stunning vistas. You can even join the "Zip at Night" event, which runs from June 13th through August 16th this year.
If you can, going at night is a pretty magical experience. You'll see the city lights twinkling in the distance as you rush your way through the forest.
Not much a zipline fan? No worries! The Five Oaks Riding Stables give you the opportunity to ride horseback along pioneer trails that snake through the mountains. You may even catch a look at the old fashioned moonshine distillery located on the property. The six-mile trek is the most popular amongst most riders, coming it at just about an hour ride.
The Adventure Park at Five Oaks is fun for the whole family, and located at 1620 Parkway in Sevierville, Tennessee. Reservations are required, and keep in mind that hours may vary due to weather conditions.
